Welcome to my website!

      A little about myself my love of horses began when I was 3 years old. My grandpa put me up on some neightbors horses. My love of horses grew and grew. My dad and mom got some horses 2 quarter geldings and a bred quarter/welsh mare. Then it all began nearly 23 years ago. We then moved to Ava Missouri and began raising appaloosas. That is were I got my mare Plaudits M D. She was my 12th birthday present. We were together for 17 years and 3 months. I learned everything but the riding from this mare. My dad and I broke her together. That is how I got started working with horses.  February of 2005 we got our heard of appaloosas. That is were Takoda Appaloosas began. We are going into our 3rd year of breeding, for some very fine horses. Our horses have some great pedigrees. It's My Illusion

Took 8th in the nation as a 3 year old in halter.

Smokey Pokey is a 21 year old Mini Horse that we had on our place when I was a kid. He now belongs to my kids. I have had pages for everyone else. Didn't want to leave him out. My kids did barrels,  pole bending, and pony walk trot ( he took 1st) on him. Smokey has now been retired other then maybe getting him out for some local shows. He is a great little horse for a kid. A lot of fun to be around.
